Didn't really have any idea on what I wanted it to look like at first, so I just played around for a while. When it started to look pretty good, I added the white sparkly-shiney star things, made it look a bit more colourful & voila!! It turned out nicely, even if I do say so myself XD.
It took me a good half an hour to decide on the font for the text though...& then the colours for it!! *sigh* Rolling Eyes

. Oh well lol.

Hmm...the forum background I'm a little unsure on. I think the colour could do with being a little lighter, what do you guys think??

Hmm, it might help a little, but the main problem is getting text colours that work. The areas of text that each colour change covers are very strangely grouped - so what then works for one section then doesn't work for another. Needless to say, priority is given to the main forum areas - as those bits really do need to be readable heh! I'll keep working on it though teehee! Kage, if you want to make changes, can you also send me through the (average/generalised) hex or rgb codes for the deep purple that borders the main background image. It took a little while to get the forum & topic titles to come close to mimicking that colour, & if I know it straight off it'll be a lot easier heh! Wink

Hmm, yeah I do see what you mean. The light blue for the "Home", "Calender", etc, doesn't show up too well against the light part of the bg. Is there anyway to make buttons for those links, a bit like what the "New Topic" & "Add Reply" are like?? Or do you think that would require messing around with HTML &/or CSS??

I could make add reply/new topic buttons. Would that be alright? And the blue for Home, Calendar, etc. doesn't go so well w/the purple. But I do love the new color & banner, purple is my favorite color.

I pretty sure the buttons can be changed, & no I don't think it involves messing around with HTML or CSS. Unfortunately the 'Home', 'Calendar' etc links fall under one of the set groups, with one colour for all (at least as far as I can tell). Any member with experience in forum creation &/or HTML is welcome to contact me if they have any solutions!
As for who wants to create buttons, Kage & DCQ decide between you - just ensure they're readable, roughly the same size as the current buttons etc Wink

Hmmm.... I have a question concerning the background of the forum......

Whenever there are longer pages, the purple background is split into a purple-and-white background. Is the purple image supposed to band with white??

Well the backround does have white on it.
Is it a solid area of white you are seeing?? Or is the white mixed with light purple & have a sort-of shape to it??

Well, its a band of your purple picture then a band of a white block.....

Hmm, odd. Perhaps it is the way your browser loads the backround image, because I do not see a solid area/band of white with either IE or Firefox.

I wonder if if anyone else is experiencing the same thing??

I would have to say the banner is great should probably update the buttons for the site (the 'new topic' button, 'add reply' button, etc) though.
