You may now know Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin as W.I.T.C.H., five girls with extraordinary powers. Five girls who've fought many villains and saved the world countless times. Well, I'm taking you all the way back. This is before it ALL happened...

~Chapter 1~

Will awoke to a sunny day in Fadden Hills. Her dad was sitting at the edge of the bed, holding a bowl of cereal and smiling.

"Breakfast-in-bed! Thanks, dad!" Will gasped.

He handed her the cereal bowl and she started to eat.

Her mother walked in. "Honey, school time!" she said with a smile.

Will quickly finished her cereal. She jumped out of bed, grabbed her clothes, and ran into the bathroom. She couldn't be late. He school was super-strict on punctuality. Will got dressed and brushed her teeth.

She walked out of the bathroom, kissed her mother and father good-bye and got on her bike. She was pedaling so fast, she accidentally crashed into someone else on a bike. She landed right on top of the person.

"Sorry!" Will apologized. She jumped up, nervous that this person may be furious.

The person got up. "It's alright," he said.

Will blushed. She couldn't help it. She had to. He had auburn hair and was about her height. He had a sweet face.

"I'm Neil," he greeted, sticking out his hand.

"I'm Will Vandom," Will replied, shaking his hand.

"Where do you go to school?" Neil asked. This girl was pretty cute. He hoped they both went to the same school.

"Fadden Hills Middle School. You?"

"I go to that one too."

Will blushed again. Who knew she'd meet a total hottie who goes to the same school as her?

"Um, your bike broke," he admitted.

Will gasped. The tires had fallen off and were severly scratched. Even a pedal was broken! "We crashed really hard then..."

Neil sighed. "I'm so sorry. I was going too fast."

"No, it was me."

"How about to make it up to you, we ride together on my bike, and go out after school to get a new one for you?"

Will grinned. He was so nice. "Sure!"

He picked up his bike and climbed onto it. "C'mon, Will, let's go." He grinned at her.

Will hopped onto the back of his bike seat. She felt squished, yet happy at the same time. She wrapped her hands around the back of his waist.

"Woo-hoo!" he cried as they rode. He rode through a bunch of trees.

Will had never been here before. "Where are we?" she asked him.

That's not how it happened at all????? Will wrecked the bike, but the wheels didn't fall off, that's how I remember it but then she wrecked the bike several times when she was young and she always seemed to have a bad sense of direction or rather a habit of running over people who got in the way, especially any girls who wasn't in her "W.I.T.C.H." gang... "It's my secret passageway. You get to school faster through here," he informed her.

Will wrapped her hands even tighter around his waist. All of a sudden, they wound up at school.

He parked his bike and got off, along with Will. Together, they walked into school.

Irma Lair was at her house in Heatherfield, sick with the flu. Her mother walked into her room, holding a bowl of soup.

"Here, sweetie, drink this chicken noodle soup. It should help a bit," her mother told her.

Irma sat up and took a sip. Mmmm, she thought. "Mom, do I still have a feber?" she asked, her nose stuffed.

"You mean 'fever'?" her mother giggled. She touched her daughter's forehead. :Yes, you definitely do."

Irma sighed. Her friend Elyon must have been bored. Irma wished she hadn't caught the flu from her brother. Her brother was still sick too, though.

"Rest, Irma," her mother said as she left the room and closed the door.

Irma placed her head back on her pillow and let sleep take her.

Meanwhile, Taranee Cook was in Sesamo, practicing for a dance show that was coming up. Taranee shook her hips and spun around.

"Taranee, good job, Sara, keep in rhythm, please," their teacher, Eva Spice, told them.

Taranee moved her feet in rhythm as "Goodbye" by Kristina DeBarge played in the background. Sara watched Taranee and tried to keep up with her, but failed and fell off the stage.

"Sara!" Taranee gasped. "You alright?"

"My ankle!" Sara cried. "It's sprained! OW!"

"Ms. Spice, Sara's hurt!" Taranee exclaimed.

Ms. Spice picked Sara up very gently and took her to the clinic.

Taranee loved dancing in this studio. Her goal was to become a professional dancer. And she wouldn't give up, no matter what. As the song ended, Taranee stopped. Ms. Spice walked back into the room.

"Ms. Cook, very impressive," Ms. Spice complimented. "Very good technique."

"Yeah, Tara! You were great!" her friend Vanessa complimented her.

"We're so gonna win against The Dancers of the World Academy!" her friend Samantha added.

"Sesamo Dance Academy will win!" Ms. Spice told them with a smile.

Back in Sheffield Institute, Cornelia Hale was hanging with her friends. Cornelia led her group of friends down the hallway.

"And then I said 'Wow, you're so smart," Cornelia giggled. Her friends laughed with her. Cornelia looked in front of her. "Hey, guys, dork ahead!"

"Let's trip her!" her friend Harriet suggested.

Cornelia smirked. "Perfect."

Hay Lin noticed a blonde-haired girl walking towards her, a fake smile on the blonde's face. She knew this would lead to trouble. She decided to get a drink of water, and as she walked over, a foot tripped her.

"Ha, ha! I got her!" Cornelia laughed as she told her friends.

Tears welled up in Hay Lin's eyes.

"Pigtails?" the blonde girl laughed, noticing Hay Lin's hair. "We're not in Kindergarten, you know!"

Her friends laughed.

"Hey, Cornelia! Leave her alone!" a voice yelled.

Cornelia turned to see that the voice belonged to a short girl with straw-colored braids.

"Who are you?" Cornelia demanded.

"Elyon Brown," the girl declared.

"C'mon, let's ditch these losers," Cornelia said to her crew. She snapped her fingers and her crew turned the other way. They walked down the opposite hallway.

"You alright?" Elyon asked the girl with the pigtails. "I'm Elyon."

"Yeah, I think so," Hay Lin replied. "I'm Hay Lin."

"You're new, then? Don't worry about Cornelia. She's just stuck-up all the time because her family's rich." Elyon helped Hay Lin get up.

Hay Lin smiled and gave her new friend a hug. "Thank you."

Cornelia halted, and so did her crowd. "I need the bathroom," she announced. "Without all of you." She made her way into the bathroom. She looked into the mirror and re-applied her mascara.

"Stupid newbie," she sighed, thinking of the girl with the pigtails, as she put on a new coat of pink lipgloss. "She probably doesn't know that I run this school."

She stepped out of the bathroom and back to her crew.

"Hey, just so you know, that newbie with the pigtails? Tell her if she ever screams at me again, I'll slap her so hard she'll see stars."

Harriet and the rest of the crew nodded.

Cornelia and her crew resumed strutting down the hallway.

Later that day, in Fadden Hills, Will and Neil were at the bike store.

Neil grabbed Will's hand and pointed to a red bike. "Want that one, Will?"

"It looks so cool," Will gasped. "I'll take it!" She grinned. As Neil paid for it, she whispered "Thank you."

Neil smiled as they left the store. "You're welcome."

"Wanna take a ride on my new bike?" Will asked him with a giggle.

Neil nodded and hopped on, letting his hair fly in the wind.

Soon, they were at Will's house.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow morning," Neil told her.

"No, come inside," Will insisted.

"Okay," Neil replied, smiling.

They walked in.

"Who's your friend?" her mother asked.

Will blushed. "Him? He's Neil Silverman."

Her mother smiled. Her daughter clearly had a crush.

Will walked Neil to her room. "Sorry about my dad, Neil. He's a bit, uh, overprotective."

Neil laughed. "It's okay, really," he told her.

Will opened the door to her room. "Welcome to my hangout," she giggled.

"Will, bed, now!" she heard her mother cry.

Neil turned to Will. "I'll take the floor."

"You sure?"

"It's fine. I don't mind."

Will gulped. A boy sleeping in her room? But Neil seemed trustworthy.

He made a quick call to his mother to let her know and then, soon enough, he realized it was time to change into his pajamas. Neil took off his shirt. "There...that's more like it." Then he noticed Will turning as red as an apple. "Oh, sorry..." He pulled his shirt back on.

Will sighed with relief. "No, it's okay..." Then she gasped as she realized she had to undress into her own nightgown...but it would have to be in front of him! And all because her father was using the bathroom at the moment. Her mother was sleeping in her room, so that wouldn't be a choice either.

"I'll step out if you want," Neil suggested.

Will nodded as Neil walked out of the room. She changed into her frog pajamas and opened the door, a grin on her face. "Ready."

"Frogs?" Neil laughed.

Will gave him a playful push and then crawled into her bed, letting sleep take her. The next morning they both got ready for school and then, he walked out, a motorcycle right there in front.

'What's this?" he gasped. He grabbed the little card attached and read it: "From: Dad. Enjoy, Son." He grinned and turned to Will. "Want a ride?"

Will gulped. "I've never been on one before..."

"Don't be afraid, I won't let anything happen to you."

They drove off and soon, they were on school grounds. He parked his bike.

"Looks like that Neil kid's got a chick," Lara said.

Will took off her helmet and shook her hair out.

"And that chick is Will," Jenny gasped.

"I smell lo-oove," Louise giggled.

"Wanna join me for a party with my friends tonight?" Neil asked her.

"Okay," Will told him with a smile. She walked over to her friends. "Hi," she greeted them.

"Ssh!" Will whispered. "Guys, don't say it too loud or he'll hear!"
"Have you had your first kiss yet?" Louise asked.
"No," Will sighed. "But he's cute, right? And guess what? We're going out to a party tonight!"

"Romantic!" Lara gasped. "He must really like you."
"Lara, I don't even know if he does like me back," Will told her.
"We should come over to your house later and help you pick what to wear," Jenny suggested.
"Good idea," Will agreed.

"Girls!" Mrs. Pibbleton cried. "Please, make your way to class."

Will, Lara, Louise, and Jenny made their way to Mrs. Pibbleton's Math class. "Class, today we will be studying decimals," Mrs. Pibbleton announced.

Neil took his seat next to Will. As class began, he put his hand on Will's and looked her in the eyes, giving her a wink. Mrs. Pibbleton began the lesson. "Move the decimal three places to the right," she instructed.

Will followed along in her Math workbook. She was so excited for the party that night. For all she knew, Neil could ask her out! The thought followed her through the day, until the school day was over. She shoved her hands in her jacket pockets. Neil approached her as she was walking out the front doors of Fadden Hills Middle.

"Will," he called.
She turned around. "Yeah?" she answered casually.
"So, what will you wear to the party tonight?"
"It depends."

He smiled. "You are so silly. I can't wait to see you there." He waved goodbye and made his way ahead.

Will watched as he walked away, spacing out looking at him from the back. Jenny bonked her on the head with her binder. "Will, what are you staring at so intently?"

"Neil," she sighed.
"The back of his head is cute...?" Jenny questioned.
Will shook her head. "Sorry. He's just...so cute."
Lara laughed. "Will...our little Will. In love."
"I'm so not your daughter," Will joked.
"You're my daughter," said Will's mother. "Hi, Will!"

Will spun around, shocked. "Mom?? Aren't you supposed to be at work??"
"I took off tonight. So, why are your friends following you?"
"I told them they could come over and prepare me for a party tonight with Neil."
"Will! I told you to tell me if you ever needed to go somewhere! You never tell me anything anymore. I guess I'm driving you, huh?"
"No, Neil's mother is."

Susan smiled. "Okay, you can go."

Will grinned and her friends joined her for a ride in Will's mother's convertible. Soon enough, they were at Will's house. They went inside and Will and her friends ran up to Will's room while Susan made a cup of coffee. Tony hugged her. "So, Susan, how was your day at work?"

"Pretty good, and yours?"
"Wonderful." Tony kissed her head. "But not as wonderful as you."
Susan giggled. "You're so silly, Tony. Want some coffee?"
"Sure."

Meanwhile, Will was raiding her closet looking for a decent outfit.

Will was having no luck whatsoever. She grabbed a black vest, red sleeveless top and a mini skirt. Maybe a little too gaudy? she thought. She put on some black boots and put a clip in her hair, smoothing her mop of red hair down.

"That outfit looks so awesome!" Lara gasped. "I wish I could pull that off..."
"I agree," Jenny chimed in. "The vest rocks the outfit."
"If I wore that my mom would kill me," Louise laughed.

Will shook her head and smiled at her silly friends. She picked up a bottle of pink lip gloss. "Lip gloss or no lip gloss?"

"Lip gloss!" Lara told her. "Neil will be all over you, wear it!"
Will laughed. "Calm down..." She applied the lip gloss and turned to her friends. "Do I need anything else?"
"Maybe a hint of mascara," Louise suggested.
"Mascara...? Am I not too young?"

"You're not too young!" Jenny replied.

Thanks, guys! And just so everyone knows...the RPG started out a little differently, with kind of the same story. That's because my story at the time, was not updated too often, so when we reach this part of the story in the RPG...where Will goes to the party, let's all follow the fanfic. Okay? Very Happy

Will sighed. "Well, I do want Neil to notice me..."

Jenny grinned. "Exactly!" She turned her head to look at the time. "You have exactly thirty minutes before Neil's party starts. Um...you did say his party was at five, right?"

Will nodded. "Yup, he told me it was that time." She ran to the bathroom, changing into her outfit and brushing her teeth. She came out. "So how do I look?"

Her friends' jaws dropped. "Will, you look awesome!" they all cried in unison.

Will smiled. "Thanks...well...should I leave...or will I be too early?"

"The earlier the better...." Louise declared with a huge grin.

Will hugged her friends. "You guys are the best...I'll see you later!" Will ran down the stairs. "Ready to go, Mom?"

Her mother eyed the time. "But you have about twenty minutes...."

Will shrugged. "Can't I make it a little early?"

Her mother smiled. "Fine." She and Will got into the car and drove slowly to Neil's party. Five minutes before the party started, they arrived. Susan kissed her daughter on the cheek and said, "Goodbye, sweetie! Enjoy yourself and see you later!" Susan drove off.

Will gulped as she walked up to Neil's front door. She rung the doorbell and her face turned red as she saw him. "Hey," she greeted.

"Hi," Neil greeted back. "You look beautiful." He embraced her in a hug.

Will smiled. as she hugged him back. "Thanks."

Neil felt his face turn red. "Um, the party's on the roof of this building...come with me." He lead her into the elevator. He waited with her until it hit the top floor. The door opened, revealing the roof and all the guests dancing.

Will's eyes widened. "Wow," she gasped. "You sure invited a lot of people."

Neil grabbed her hand. "Yes, but you were number one on my list," he admitted.

Will grinned at him. "Aw...how cute. So...you wanna dance?"

Neil shifted his weight. "Um...I'm not really too much of a dancer. But...I'll make an exception for you." He began moving to the upbeat music, until the song turned slow.

Will gulped. This meant a more intimate dance. It was slower...more romantic. She blushed as he pulled her closer and rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm really glad I came," she told him.

"I'm really glad you did too," Neil replied, ruffling her hair. "I'm also glad I met you."

Will took her head off his shoulder, looking him in the eyes lovingly. "You really mean that?"

Neil moved his face closer. "I do."

Suddenly, someone tapped Neil on the shoulder. Will turned to see a girl with black hair pulled back into a ponytail. The girl was wearing a tight dress, which was very pretty and seemed to touch the floor gracefully. She suddenly felt out of place in her not-so-elegant outfit.

"Neil, I'm so glad you invited me," the girl said, fixing her ponytail. She turned to Will. "Who's this?"

Will hoped this girl wasn't Neil's girlfriend or something. She hoped she wasn't being lead on.

"This is Will, Vicki," Neil introduced Will. "She's my date."

Vicki's smile suddenly faded. "Oh." She extended a hand toward Will stiffly. "Nice to meet you, Will." She glared at Will.

Will shook Vicki's hand, feeling awkward. "Nice to meet you too."

"Well, the punch is calling my name," Vicki laughed, though it seemed like a fake laugh. "See you soon, I guess, Neil." She sashayed off to the punch bowl.

"Um, maybe I should go," Will said to Neil. "I don't think I belong here." Tears began forming in her eyes. She began walking away, tears slipping down her face. A hand clamped down on her arm softly. She turned to see Neil.

"Hey," Neil called softly, bringing her back to him. "Of course you belong here."

"Your friends don't seem to like me."

Neil shook his head. "You think I honestly care what they think? I don't. I care about you, Will." He wiped her tears. "Please don't leave."

Will smiled at him. "I guess I'll stay."

Neil looked Will in the eyes, bringing her closer. "Will, can I tell you something?"

Will blushed for the millionth time that night. "What do you want to tell me?"

"I love you, Will," he whispered in her ear.

Will felt her insides go mushy. His smooth voice whispering in her ear made her stomach fill with butterflies. "You know what, Neil? I love you too," she whispered in his ear.

Neil took one look at her and then crushed his lips against hers. He wrapped his arms around her, and Will did the same back. Neil ran his hand through her hair while Will tangled her fingers in his. They stayed like that for a few moments before pulling apart again to break into a hug.

The music kept playing as they danced, happy they'd admitted their true feelings.

Meanwhile, Irma turned on her side in her bed. "Ugh," she sighed. "I wish this stupid cold would go away." She coughed and suddenly, the light in her room turned on. She rolled to see Stephen standing by her bedside.

"Stephen?" she gasped.

Stephen smiled and knelt down by her bedside. "Hey there, Lair. I heard you were sick and brought you some gifts." He put a small bag on her bed.

Irma grinned. "Tanks," she said, instead of thanks, because of her cold. She opened the bag and took out a card.

It read:

Dear Irma,

I'm sorry you got sick. I really missed you at school today and I hope you'll come back soon. I got you something, I hope you like it.

Love, Stephen

Irma smiled. "Cute." She reached into the bag and took out a hand-made charm bracelet. It had a charm that said Irma, and three others of a wave, a turtle, and a small heart. Her eyes widened in shock. "You made tis for me?"

Stephen grinned. "Yes." He leaned forward and pressed his lips against hers, not caring that she was sick. He caressed the side of her face and then kissed her neck. "Enjoy. I love you, Irma."

"I-I love you too, Stephen," Irma stuttered, feelings her cheeks flush.
