I loved Death Note when I first saw it, I think the anime is brilliant!!

Other anime I thought were good:
Samurai 7
Eureka Seven
Tokyo Mew Mew
Digimon ( I don't remember which one but it was one of the first that got me into anime Very Happy

Fullmetal Alchemist

Has anyone seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood yet?? If so, please tell me what you think of it, I only saw the first one and I was *very* confused.

Off topic:
Can I create an anime/manga recommendation thread? I think it would be useful to people (like me) who have no idea what they should watch or which anime fits into the genres they like.

Digimon Season 1 was great and Season 2 was pretty decent. I didn't care much for the later seasons, although I never seen any of the fifth one.

Agreed. I really liked S1 & 2; I watched the first episode of S3 & gave up on it right there. It just didn't seem like the same show anymore imo.

It is ranked as the best Shoujo anime in Japan, and YAY! I was bored one day,too, and a friend said hey lets watch Sailor Moon and I go like hey what's this thing.I watched it and I fell in love with it.
My fave sailors are Venus, Jupiter and Neptune.

Cool!! It's kind of obvious that it would be ranked the best over there. It's probably one of the longest running Shoujo anime too.
