The flu is a type of virus. From what I know, there are several types of flu and the virus is able to mutate and get stronger, so you can be immune to one type of flu but not to a new one ( I think...).
The most common symptoms are a sore throat, blocked nose, muscle pain, fever/high temperature.
I'm not sure but I thinks in some parts of the world its the same thing as a cold....

Also, I think it would be better if you read the Wikipedia article, as I'm kinda unclear about the facts, I just know I have it... Razz

It really annoys me when that occurs: something bad happens, like a new strain of a virus or what have you, & the media say it may have orriginated from a certain country & because it is a "neccessity" to have the blame fall upon someone, the rest of the world all point the finger at that country & it's people. It's ridiculous!! Mad

Anyway, as for what am I doing: Listening to music & deliberating on whether I should watch a movie or continue watching an anime...Hmm, could take the middle ground & watch an anime movie XD albino

Sorry R'N'R Girl, I didn't mean Swine Flu. I don't judge people that way either.

Viruses/bacteria are found everywhere and there's all kinds of illnesses everywhere and its a natural process like evolution.
Like Kage says, its unfair to blame a country and its people when natural processes happen like the evolving of viruses and bacteria.
