I have a new favorite movie ;D! I just went and saw the new Star Trek movie and even though I'm not a big fan of the series, I thought the movie was very well done and the special effects were superb. Oh, I also saw a trailer for a new G.I. Joe movie that will be coming out and it looks really good.

Channing Tatum's gonna be in it. He looks like G.I. Joe. XD

Hmm...I might have to disagree with that one. Channing Tatum is playing the G.I. Joe team's 1st Sergeant Duke and in my opinion he does not look mature enough for this character, at least not if they are going keep the Duke character true to the tv show and comic book. But with most of these movies that doesn't happen. Comic book Duke has about at least 10 ten years of age, experience and discipline over the one in the movie. However I won't be able to judge anything until I see the movie.

The new Star Trek movie was awesome, I'm not really a fan of the old TV show so I am not sure how a fan will view it, but it was cool to me.
Hmm, yeah. I know what you mean; I'm not sure what a fan would think of it either, but overall it was a good Sci-Fi, Action movie that I think would appeal to the younger generation of today (& no, I wasn't trying to make a bad pun with that XD).
I thought it was quite cool that Leonard Nimoy (Spock) made an appearance. It was really weird that I recognised him though, as I've only ever seen one episode of the Star Trek TV show & he was much younger when those were made...Oh well .
(Oh dear...I've got this sudden urge to go & watch the old series now... )

I saw it with my uncle and it was really good, lots of actions and suspense and some really hilarious parts too XD. Oh, I can't wait, I just got The Shining on DVD, and I haven't had the chance to watch the whole movie yet. Also, me and uncle went to go see Star Trek agian and we saw a new trailer that made us both go... OMG , What the... ?! It was for a new movie thats coming out called 2012, so I had to check out the official site and found out that the same director who did Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow is making this movie and it... looks... AWESOME!!!!!
Here's the trailer my uncle and I saw in theaters, though on the site they now have a full trailer and even a teaser of 5 minutes of the movie that you have to see! ~

Spirited Away, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Panic Room. Also Mean Girls, Juno and Wall-E.
Spirited Away is stunning. The animation, the colours, everything. I love it. The guy who voiced Matt in W.i.t.c.h. does the voice of Haku.
Confessions of a Shopaholic is really funny, and I can watch it over and over again ^^.
Panic Room is slightly violent at times, and they swear a lot, but I think the story's really good, except that masked Raoul guy had no reason to kill Junior and I don't understand why the other guy needed the money so badly. . . other than that, I like that movie ^^.
Oh, other movies I like include the Day After Tomorrow and Back to the Future (Part 3). Well, I think it's Part 3. Oh, and not forgetting the Simpsons Movie! I really hope the Green Day concert I'll be going to in June won't be a repeat of the concert at the beginning of that movie. . .
