This is one of those previous projects that I found lying on the web. I presume you guys would remember this if you guys knew me long enough.

For those who don't know about this, it works exactly like a Wikipedia except it is designed specially for W.I.T.C.H. We have master scanners and members who are complete experts in our very good show and obviously, I would like for all the members here to bring their thoughts into the site.

Once again, we all are masters at both the shows and the comics. The site is running at 40 articles (29 about 3 months ago, IMPROVEMENT!) and I believe with some tiny effort, such as writing the plots of each issue, we can do a crazy deal and might even raised 10 articles per day.

This small effort can be easily achieved by anyone and plus on the bright side, we have a chance to raise the popularity of W.I.T.C.H. from all over the world! Tell me what you guys think and most importantly, what you guys are going to do!

You could be one of those people who could do the crazy plotting. I presume (not fully assume) that you as an eleven-year old should have plenty of time unless your social life is heavy. I'm basically flooded with homework so yeah.. I did open up about 5 articles covering the W.I.T.C.H. girls and just the simple details. A few other people have volunteered and contributed as well.

I noticed someone had changed the background of the site. I'd like to say thanks and good job to the person and everyone who contributed! This had gained more support from previously so keep up the good work!

I can see there's a greater improvement already. From the time I opened this thread until now, the site has increased in number of articles by 20%, that is from 40 to 48 articles present. Keep up the good job, and still, thanks to whoever designed the background.

My overall and full-time record, edited several (around 10 maybe, but all with minor stuff only) and started 5 articles, namely the five characters. First time I went there, none yet.

I think that the site is brilliant, its definitely a good way to spread the word about W.I.T.C.H and it's resourceful for those of us who sometimes need some tiny details. Smile

So it's 9/10 for the W.I.T.C.H. Wiki (9 because we need more articles).

I'll help out with what I can, I'd personally like to try the plot-writing for each issue since I like summaries.

Will Fan =), can you please tell me how detailed the summaries should be? I don't wanna write something too short or too long, because it'll confuse the readers... Razz

Well, I've started summarizing Issue 35: Mirrored Lives. It still isn't complete though, I'm reading the issue and summarizing at the same time so I don't make any mistakes.
Also, could someone please take a look at what I've done so far?

I have to admit that I'm having trouble with the text editing. The last time I edited and Wiki article was the Orube Special at Wikipedia because it was full of grammar and spelling mistakes... It took me forever to make it look right... X|
I hope my summary isn't too detailed...

Oops! I was reading and the town was called Midgar.... not Midgale... sorry.
I'm not offended at all hay lin, I'm glad you told me o i can find out what to do to fix it.
Yes it is long, but when I thought about it, it seemed a little silly to have a very short summary like:

"The girl's Astral Drops have run away and Orube is chasing after them. They spend some time in a department store called Reed Rose and Cornelia's Astral Drop gets a job as a model to earn them some money. Cornelia and Hay Lin's Drops get kidnapped by a man who used to work for the real Cornelia's father and holds a grudge against him. Orube finally finds the location of the Drops and tries to rescue the two kidnapped ones. She gets hurt and the other Drops take her to the hospital. She convinces the Drops to return to the Guardians and calls Will using her cellphone. The real Guardians then rescue the kidnapped Astral Drops."

(Note: I pulled what I could remember out of my head, I didn't read the entire issue, just up to the part I wrote.)

It doesn't mention anything about the girl's feelings about their drops or the feelings of the drops themselves.

I always thought that Wiki articles should be as informative as possible.

The part I wrote up there could be the basic summary and maybe we could go into more detail in the main part of the article.
But I think its better just to wait for Will Fan =) to tell me what I should do before I do anything more confusing....

Thing is, I thought that it would seem silly to have a very short summary, so I was trying to think of a way to make the article about Issue 35 be well detailed.
I was just thinking of it in terms of narration, but now that I think about it, I haven't done a good job at all.
I don't want to delete the article or edit any further in case that proves to another mistake on my part...

Actually, the more detailed it is, the more it helps. Have you seen the size of a regular Wiki article? It's like, massive. Still, you might be right. After all, it is just the synopsis of a single article. Your question about the summary size, any size will do as you see fit, but obviously the more the better.

How long the summary should be.. Not too long, but not too short either. That's why they called it a summary in the first place. Very Happy
