Forum Creation

Hi all!
The replacement forum for WITCH-United.net is now up & sort of running. It's nothing like as good as the original, & I will be honest & say that it probably never will be. But I hope that in creating this, we can work towards rebuilding the community that W-U was.

I have kept the basic forum setup the same, the categories & subforums etc to make it hopefully easier to navigate.
Presently we don't have a gallery, simply because this is a free forum & has nothing like the space W-U had, but there are possible ideas in mind, & images loaded into photobucket & other similar sites should still work. I have ideas in mind to help improve the site, but don't expect miracles for a while yet! For the moment, all I ask is that you tell your friends to tell their friends that this forum is now online, & let's see if we can get some of original members back - & to any new members welcome!

Favours to ask:

To those of you who do know me from W-U know that I was fairly lax on sigs & other things. Until I know a little more about keeping this site afloat, I ask that you keep signatures small (& by small I do mean that). When, things are running a bit more smoothly, I'll work on setting an approximate size again.
To keep spam to a minimum - this includes posts that consist of nothing more than an emoticon/smilie or 'lol' or something similar. Pointless posts, which I will be deleting this time round.
I have not yet set up any rank system. Any ideas on how it should work should be posted in the comments & suggestions topic, pm'd to me, or replied to in this topic. If you want me to keep the old ranking system...well, if you can remember the list & rough number of posts let me know!

I will be looking for a Moderator to help me keep things running. So if you are interested contact me. You will need to be online regularly, & preferably have some understanding how the forum works. Those of you who knew me from W-U will probably have an idea of what I spent a lot of my time doing!

I have arrived! Thanks for the link, it's great that you've got this up and running so fast.

Well, like I said I'm here to help so if you need anything just ask. I'm going to start telling other WITCH fans (my reviewers on FF.net, mainly) about the forum. Is it okay if I link to the main page?

By all means link away to the main forum home page. Only way we're going to get some members back!

I think linking to photobucket accounts is the best thing presently. Might be able to get a gallery running, but I think it had a total storage size of something ridiculously small. If things change, I'll let you know.

Now that I got an avatar plus my old signature back, this looks slightly better...

Least to say, the site's been facing membership increment. If there is anything at all that I can do, please state. What we need now is the ranking system which I cannot figure, a gallery section, a new set of avatars that must replace the current set, and maybe some additional background features.

SBG711 again from what I heard, has been a little busy about the other subjects regarding the issue on W~U however, even if he had the money, he needed it for his other projects, so yeah.

That's a statement I would really love to agree with, but even people have their own lives. You'll understand that once you're just a few years older. It's tough trying to balance such kinds of life.
