I certainly hands down love W.i.t.c.h. With all my heart. But a few of my friends who I recently showed the show don't. They think it's some souped up, 'girly,' show, and has no value whatsoever. They think the theme song for the anime is horrible, and that it isn't very original.

I own the whole manga series, and I just finished watching the anime series over.
It's quite disheartening when my friends think I'm lame for liking the show. > Sad

Yeah, I don't really have many friends, (three, in case anyone was wondering XD), so that particular difference of opinion hasn't affected me. My one friend didn't mind the cartoon, but it's not something he'd go out of his way to watch again and he's not interested enough to read the comics. He does like both the American & the UK's opening themes though. The other two, I donno if they've even heard of it, let alone if they would like it.

It all comes down to opinion. If your friends don't like it and think it's a load of crap, so be it, but they shouldn't think less of you for liking it. It's a little shallow.

Hmm...makes me wonder if they're closet fans of something you find pathetic and childish. If they did, wouldn't it be amusing to find out what it is and then tease them about it?? I know that's what I would do, if they were my friends Twisted Evil

Well, I usually could careless, but I mean if you like something, and someone bashes you, it has to make you at least feel a little down. Specially since she's one of my best friends. Well....I only have a select-few friends as well D:. GO ANTI-SOCIAL PEOPLE! ^^

Yeah, W.I.T.C.H. is becoming less and less popular. I think it's because not only was the show canceled, but even the comics are losing good storylines. Only some of my friends know what W.I.T.C.H. is, but they're not huge fans of it.

Also, I think a lot of people really liked the anime though. I really was sad when it ended, if anything they should of made another season. I read some of the things in the manga, like how will had a brother from Mr. Collins, so a maternal brother. And he had powers like her, so she had to do everything to protect him. I thought that was kinda stupid, and a little unnecessary, considering Will is already older, and her mother just has a baby out of nowhere? ;--; Maybe I just don't like new additions.
