Weird Newscasters (Winter Olympics Edtion)

Yes, the Olympics are almost over but this doesn't stop me from doing a Winter Olympics edition of Weird Newscasters.

Joel is the Anchor of the news program.

Irma is the co-anchor and she is hyperventilating after missing out on meeting her favorite Winter Olympic athlete who was in Heatherfield yesterday giving out autographs.

Cornelia is doing the Live Report and she accidently sinks into the thin ice during an ice skating race with Will.

Taranee is doing the sports and she is snowboarding with Luke and they both tumble into the snow.

Hay Lin is doing the weather and she gets her coat caught on the ski lift.

Joel: Hello and welcome to the 10 '0 Clock News. I'm your news anchor, Joel Wright. Today we have a special newscast about the Winter Olympics! Let's go to Irma Lair, my co-anchor, for the inside story. (looks in mirror and runs hand through hair)

Irma (Saddened and Begins to Cry): Well famed snowboarder and my favorite athlete Shawn White was in town giving autographs and talking to his fan when I was taking a nap then, then WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Irma's Tears goes all over the room).

Joel: This just in never take a nap when your favorite athelete is in town. And now we a figure skating race going on let's go over to Cornelia Hale with the live report.

Cornelia: Thank you, Joel. Hello, this is Cornelia Hale, reporting to you live from one of my FAVE ice skating rinks. As you can see around me, lots of Heatherfieldians are having fun skating.
Will: (skates by) SLOWPOKE!
Cornelia: (through teeth)Can't you see I'm doing a news report? (laughs nervously at camera)
Will: If Peter were here, he'd be laughing!
Cornelia: (growls) Anyways...
Will: Just race me!
Cornelia: (puts on goggles) You're ON! (goes off and races Will) HA HA, I'M WINNING!
Will: (twirls all around Cornelia) Hope you like your water icy. (laughs)
Cornelia: What? AAAAAH! (falls in freezing water under ice and shivers) W-W-W-Will! I-I-I'm g-gonna k-kill y-y-y-you!
Will: Well, that's all for now, folks. Let's go to Taranee with the sports. (smiles)

Taranee: Hello everyone. This is Taranee Cook with the Sports. I am currently with Luke Pradd, my boyfriend. And we are having fun gliding through the snow.
Luke(sings): Riding through the snow, on a one-horse open sleigh...
Taranee: Shhh! Luke, I'm trying to do the news. Sorry, everyone. As for sports today, you know it's been wintry weather in Heatherfield, so therefore everyone has taken up the sport of snowboarding lately! C'mon Luke!!
Luke: (snowboards faster while holding onto Taranee's hand)
Taranee: Whoa...not too fast! (screams)
Luke(screams): We're gonna crash!
(both tumble into snow)
Taranee: I'm okay...except I think I've lost all the feeling in my legs. Well, there's your sports. To Hay Lin with t-the weather. Man it's cold!

Hay Lin: Um, I could use a little help here.

(Ski Lift Lets Go of Hay Lin and she goes downhill skiing)

Hay Lin: WHOA!

(Hay Lin is going to fast and is about to hit a house)

Joel: Well that's all of the Winter Sports News.

Irma: WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
